And you are a doctor???
Ummm.... have you tried retracing your steps to the last time and place you remember having it? Have you filed a police report with the serial number? Have you gone to the Apple store on iTunes and set up a new account so that the new owner of your iPad doesn't go charging hundreds of dollars of apps and music to your account?
