Lost an Icon

I seem to have lost an icon on my ipad2.
I lost my "People" magazine icon for some reason.
If I go into "Settings" it is there.
If I go to "Search" it is there and I can access it
But it is nowhere to be found on my ipad desktop.
I tried to reinstall it but it tells my that it is already installed
I tried rebooting it but that did nothing.
Not sure what to do - any help would be very much appreciated

try a hard reset,hold down your sleep/wake button and home button at the same time until you see the apple,then let go and your device will reboot,this can fix many glitches.

Do you have your apps in folders? Could be in a folder, or if no folders you might have too many apps to show it.

Was there a recent update? They may have moved it to the Newsstand.

Whenever I'm missing an icon it's usually hiding in a folder somewhere. Have you checked all of those?

Yep - that's where it is - in Newsstand. And yes there were a few updates. I guess I didn't put the two together.

Happy to help. This happened to me with a different magazine several months ago. Fortunately I remembered them mentioning it in the update before I went too crazy.
