AppleInsider reports on the leak of photographs that purport to show iPad 3 displays being manufactured by one of Samsung’s suppliers. The images are from App.wepost.me, and although a little blurred, they do offer an insight into Apple’s supply chain, showing a factory area. The pictures are said to be from a Radiant Opto-Electronics factory in Wujiang, China. According to the source, there is very tight security around the iPad 3 units seen at the factory. The source also said that the iPad 3 is basically “the same†externally as the iPad 2. Other information provided by the source backs up most of the recent leaks about the iPad 3, saying that the display will be Retina quality, and “dual LED display.†The photos also seem to indicate an upgraded camera. Apparently, once assembled, the displays will be shipped to Samsung in South Korea, and then eventually onto Apple. [/FONT]
