I already see a couple of people I know from the Droid Forums. I need to learn a lot of things and hope to see if I can search for some information in here.

If anyone wants to lend a hand I'm looking for a twtter app and a gtalk app.
Recommendations are appreciated. My other n00b question is does the app store have a return policy, and how long do they give you if so?

Greetings and welcome to the forum!

When you get some time, I suggest you download a copy of the iPad User Guide. It is available for free in several different formats.

a) As a free PDF download from the Apple website --
Apple - Support - Manuals

This can (and should!) be saved on your computer and your iPad.

b) As a free iBook once you download the free iBook app from the iTunes App Store.

c) Online using the link provided in the Safari favorites on your iPad.

The answers to many questions, especially if this is your first Apple mobile "iDevice", can be answered by spending some quality time with this handy document.

As far as the app return policy, buying apps through iTunes is strictly "Caveat Emptor" Let the Buyer Beware! Once you pay for it, you own it. There is no trial period... period! Some apps do have a "lite" or trial version for free that could have advertising or is in some way lacking some of the functionality of the paid version.

Here is a link to a sticky elsewhere in this forum with more info on Apple's return policy -- http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-help/6539-how-get-refund-app-itunes-store.html

Thank you for the information. Wow, Apple really makes you jump through hoops to get your money back on a lousy 2 dollar app. I'll be sure to pick more carefully in the future.

I have a Droid 2 and if I buy an app for that in the Market I have 24 hours to try it and if I remove the app the just refund your credit card or don't charge you at all. This is a little disappointing. But nothing is perfect, you live and learn. :)
