itunes help for Windows 10

Hi, I am wondering if someone can advise me please. I have a large itunes library of MP3 and WAV files. I havnt used itunes in a long while, and want to clear space on my laptop. I understand itunes is now finished ? Is there a way I can save all my music files and move them to an external hard drive ? My version of itunes is 12.11.4.15
Is there a replacement programme i can download to my laptop to play the stored files on the EXT hard drive if I need them please ? I would not have a clue where to find the folder with the files or know how to move it.

iTunes is still available for windows 10 and 11. The newer TV app from Apple is available but you can still download and use iTunes. It’s available in the App Store in Windows 10 or 11.

If so I am really looking at a step by step guide on how to find and move the folder containing my itunes music files to an Ext hard drive. And once done knowing that itunes can find the music on the Ext hard drive.

If you download the iTunes App you can sign in and see your purchased tunes. You should be able to simply highlight them and drag them to a flash drive or external drive.
