I have a 16GB Wifi iPad,which I bought yesterday. When I got on my computer to set it up for the first time, after registration,it syncs my music library. No problem there. After the sync, it says "Sync Completed,You can Disconnect the iPad."SO I disconnect it, and go to the iPod app on my iPad. There, it says "No Music Found".When I go to "About" under settings, it shows under "Songs" is 0. But the "Storage Capacity" is correct as to the number of songs I have on the iPad.It is very confusing.Could someone please help? Thanks.

My Specs

Acer Aspire Laptop running Win Vista
Lastest iTunes version
I sync 2 iPhones and 1 iPod Toouch to this computer also
Apple iPad iOS 3.2.2

First, I'd upgrade our iPad to iOS 4.2 - that might be a cause (prob. unlikely), but mainly 'cos the update vastly improves the iPad experience, with multitasking etc.

How long did the sync take? Did you see music file titles and progress bars in the iTunes display pane at the top?

It might be worth checking Manage Music and Videos Manually for the iPad when it's connected, and try dragging and dropping some files + see if they turn up correctly on it, just to make sure there isn't other issues at play.

Yes,when iTunes was syncing with iPad, as it moved from one song to the next, it displayed the progress bar and "transferring song X".

Try rebooting your iPad. Hold down the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo on the screen. (Ignore the part where it tells you to slide the red arrow over to power off.)

Thanks, what I did was restore/update the iPad to iOS 4.2.1. I cleared all the Backups for my iTouch and iPhone etc, and re sync my iPad. Now the music will show perfectly.
