Dear Ipadusers,

I recently bought myself an Ipad2 with AV adapter. I use my ipad2 on an external display. This external display had a pivot function from landscape to portrait mode.

My question is, does someone know how you can use the pivot external display in portrait mode when mirroring the Ipad2? So you make full advantage of the external display when the ipad is in portrait mode.

Best Regards,

Tim

I don't know the answer to your question but, with a first name the same as mine and (I assume) the first three letters of your surname being the same as mine I felt I should welcome you to the Forum!!

Hello Tim!

Thx for responding, talking about coincidence!:) We indeed share the same initials... I wonder if someone tried out what I questioned above, seems like a though one.

Dear Tim,

I love the Netherlands and have spent a lot of time near Amsterdam at the European Space Agency in Noordwijk. I hope you get an answer; remember, though, it's a world-wide forum so some members will be asleep. Also, we often get comments on the number of times a post is read, but there is no response. But anyone can read the posts, but only members can write them.

Keep in touch and PM me if you don't get a reply. We have three moderators around the world - me in Scotland, Marie (SweetPoison) in California and Colin (col.bris) in Brisbane, Australia - plus some super moderators to slap our wrists if we step out of line and a few guys in the 'Executive Suite'. So we try to keep our eye on the Forum 24/7. All the moderators are volunteers - i.e. we don't get paid!!!! - we do it for fun----I think????

Thank you for the kind welcome!

I have actually lived in Noordwijk for 5 years and still have some family there. Currently I live a bit up north, close to Amsterdam. I have been to Scotland once and the scenery + friendly people make that a very nice place to be. But I guess that is something you get used to when you live somewhere.

Sounds like a great community and of course I have patience on getting an answer. I will have a look around, cause seems like there are a lot more enthusiasts out there!:)
