Ipad2 causes wireless signal drop Zyxel 330w

I have a desktop and a laptop with the laptop on wireless Zyxel330w. Upon adding ipad 2 when I open the laptop it causes the ipad to drop signal.
Zyxel tech updated firmware and we went through reboots. They indicated if problem persisted a new router would be needed.It has persisted. Future plans will include a netflix tv so what is the least costly router to provide best results?
