Ipad wallpaper assistance

My new ipad did not have any wallpaper. I then chose to put a wallpaper and have now decided to remove it as I prefer the interface without any wallpaper like it was before. However, the only option I can see is to replace the existing wallpaper with another..so how do I remove it now...?

Well, I've never tried this and it seems you can't have none. A workaround would be to take a photo of a plain wall/piece of paper etc and then use that from your camera roll. Hopefully someone else may know more.
