As far back as Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which was launched in October 2012, Android tablets have supported multiple users, whereby a tablet owner can happily share their tablet while keeping their personal data private.
In the original report on 9to5 Mac it says that the iPad multi-user mode will let people share their iPads without sharing content. Each separate account will have its own apps and files, including messages, mail, contacts, calendar and more.
However, before you get too excited, BGR has a note of caution, saying that while this feature may be announced at WWDC on Monday, it still might not be available when iOS 9 is actually released this fall.
