iPad message

Out of the blue received message on my IPad ' the recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying'. I have not made any changes to settings.

Would greatly appreciate any ideas.

I've had a look at previous instances of this error message, and the advice appears to be to delete the account and re-enter the settings, especially if its an AOL account.
