iPad 2 IOS5

I am reading an article in MacLife and noticed a feature which is called "speak text" this can be achieved without having Siri all is need is IOS5 so how or where do I turn this feature on my iPad2 and iPhone4?

Hi there-to answer your question go to settings/general/accessibility/Speak selection and speak auto text should both be turned on.
