Ipad 2 camera problems

Since updating to IOS 7 a friend has been having camera problems with her IPAD 2 camera. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a resolution?
When she attempts to use the camera she gets a black screen.

Hello - you'll really have to provide further information - I own an iPad 2 and the camera is lousy (only .7 MP for the back one) - please give more specific information as to her issue(s) compared to how the camera worked before the upgrade - thanks. Dave
