Hi everyone I'm new to the iPad so finding my way, glad to be part of this forum. I intend to travel soon to Europe, can I ring using my iPad, I have downloaded Skype , also I have put out how I can't get my clear email onto myipad 2.
I changed to gmail I can get that. Anyway any tips using it overseas? Thanks

You can use the WiFi connection wherever you find it.
If you happen to have 3G/4G you will need a data plan allowing roaming (and having reasonable rates as well).
Power plug has a different shape here, but charger is actually the same - no need for a voltage transformator or something like that.

Might be cheaper to get a local sim for your iPad rather than pay roaming charges
An idea is to get a camera connection kit to hook your camera up to your iPad to upload photos.
An iPad is so much easier for travelling and GPS will be a help, so upload maps before you go....that is if you have 3G ipad
