Icloud calander

I, I could be wrong but I thought if you added an event to your calendar through iCloud on your iPhone that it would also show up on my iPad calendar. What an I doing wrong and how can I get it to work? Do I need to hook it up to a pc each time I want them to sunk or is there a way to make the two devices correspond with each other each time a new event is added . Thanks in advance for the help. This is all new to me. Take care.

Hi there. Been having the same problem. Just spoke with apple and they managed to work it out. You need to disable the syncing of your hotmail in the settings area. To do this go to the settings, then hotmail, calendars button and then disable the hotmail sync. It il ask you to delete or can and if you are happy with deleting then you should do this. I didnt have to many events on the ipad yet so I just deleted. That should severe any connection to the hotmail calendars that may have been causing a biateral issue. Sometimes you need to wait a few minutes to see the effect. Dont know if this will work for you but it seemed to work out for me.
