iBook Question

Can anyone tell me how to transfer e-pubs into and out if iBook Reader for use in other reader apps? I can't seem to do it u sing iTunes. I can copy the file over to my desktop, but it shows up as a blank document in the other reader.

In Windows, your books are actually in your iTunes music library folder.

However...

If you purchased books through the iBook Store, you can only read them with the iBooks app because the file is "wrapped" with a DRM (Digital Rights Management) system. This is the reason you can only read a book from Amazon with a Kindle (or Kindle app) or Barnes & Noble book with a Nook (or Nook app), etc.
