A lot of members here have had great success with Apple's app "Numbers." It is their version of Excel and is compatible with it. It's available at the AppStore for $9.99 (USD).

I'm sure there are others, but this is the one that gets mentioned a lot...

If Ou can count on a stable Internet connection take a look at Cloudon.
It ia free and executes an Excel-program on a remote server.
