How can I delete?

I want to delete various photos and music from my ipad2.
Can someone tell me if this is possible, and how to do it if it is possible.

If there pictures in your saved folder just hit the email icon top right tap the ones to delete
If there pictures you loaded through iTunes sync you have to sort/delete them there

As the previous poster suggested, if a photo was uploaded from your PC via a sync operation it cannot be deleted by the iPad, you have to delete it first on the PC and then do another sync operation.

If a photo was loaded directly onto your iPad - perhaps it was emailed to you, or it was a screenshot or was imported from the camera connection kit, then you will be given the opportunity to delete it on the iPad.
