Hi, I'm a newbie to forums

Have had iPad for just on a year - thoroughly enjoy it - used to be able to transfer photos via ipad.local:8080 but this isn't available anymore. Can anyone advise how to transfer photos from the computer to the iPad?

I use GoodReader to transfer photos via WiFi - it works well.
