hi hope im writing in the correct place the website seems very high tech. came upon the site when looking for an answer to a problem i have with my ipad. thought maybe you could advise?

hello again and thankyou all for getting back to me. I couldnt get back to website till now. but i solved the problem late last night. the screen on my apple i pad froze on a website and no matter what i did it wouldnt work. but someone said its a common problem on ipad 4 and i released it by holding in the on/off button along with the function? button. ive only had it for a few months it was a present so i didnt have receipt etc was panicking a bit. but at the same time angry how can something that expensive i think 420 sterling have such faults.?
eitherways it brought me to this site so ill be popping in and out im sure. thankyou again. couldnt function without my ipad ha! take care all

Glad to hear you've solved your issue. And that you'll continue to visit us.
Oh, and don't be so hard on the iPad. It's a computer and, like all computers, it needs a swift kick in the software every now and then to make it behave properly.
What your friend/someone said for you to do is called a reset (hold both physical buttons - the home and sleep buttons - until you see the Apple logo). That, or a restart (turning the iPad off then on) are the two ways we have found that help us give the iPad that kick in the software. We're constantly amazed at how often those work to solve issues!
