Help needed! iTunes

Dear iPad users,

I have an iPad, an iPhone, and an old MacBook 10.4.11 Tiger. I am not able to sync my devices to my MacBook because my version on iTunes is out of date and I can't upgrade to the new version. Is there anyway that I can transfer my music in iTunes from my MacBook to my devices without syncing as my devices aren't even recognised on my MacBook.

This Apple page tells you how to transfer your iTunes content from one computer to another. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4527
Once on the new computer, your content can be synced with your devices.

Upgrading to a newer computer is the only way to be able to connect with your devices through iTunes.

There may be other ways of transferring the content that I'm not aware of.
