Hello! My name is Katie and I am new to this forum. I've been a Windows user for years. I just purchased my first Apple product which is the ipad2.. this is the most wonderful thing i have EVER owned.. i am OBSESSED! i dont know what ive been doing with windows all this time. if i ever get another laptop i will be getting a mac. i am SOOOOO impressed with apple. i havent touched my dell laptop since ive gotten my ipad2. im a recent college graduate with my first big time corporate job. i use my ipad 2 for everything.. i dont know what it would be like to use this as a student.. but for a working professional who just wants to surf the web and do light word processing this is perfect. theres an app for EVERYTHING!! i joined this forum so i can learn everything about the ipad2 and take FULL advantage of it.. please let me know if you know of any tips and trickS! =) THANKS!!! =)

The IPad Forum is a community of members from all walks of life and from all over the world coming together to share our experiences and to help each other learn about this wonderful piece of technology the Ipad. There is a wealth of information already here in the many threads we have so doing some searches will answer most of the questions you have. If then you cannot find the answer you are seeking then by all means post your question. There are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you.

I went to high school down there! Daly City! I lived in the city for years, worked in San Mateo and RWC. Remember when Marine World was down there? I would hear the elephants every morning! Now they are up here!

wow thats like right where i live.. i live in belmont and work in RWC. i used to go to marine world all the time i love that place! ya i saw davis in the news.. i was surprised students are acting out there.. when i lived there they were pretty calm and not too crazy like the berkeley students
