Gifting an iBook

Hey!

I am having troubles of figuring out whether I can send a book in iBook to another user who does not use it in the same region. My account is registered in Sweden but when I was about to send the book as a gift it was noted that it can be redeemable only at the Swedish store. Can someone please tell me whether I can send this gift or will it be useful to a US user?

It's only possible to gift ibooks to the same country. Gifting internationally isn't supported yet. Sorry!

Maybe you can send your friend a gift card, with the unsubtle suggestion they buy that book with it. You'd need to make sure the book is actually available in their country/store.
