Despite all the hullabaloo about whether worker conditions in Foxconn factories was ethical or not, Marketplace Shanghai bureau chief Rob Schmitz was recently given a rare look into the operations within Foxconn’s Shenzhen iPad factory. They even allowed his crew to film the iPad assembly line. These areas of the Foxconn plant have never been seen before by outside eyes. This makes for a fascinating inside peek at the technology and machinery required to build the world’s best tablet. Enjoy!
