Fancy some free To-Fu? No, not the bean curd kind of To-Fu, but the addictive iOS puzzler kind of To-Fu! Pocket Gamer reports that HotGen’s addictively stretchy puzzle game is currently going free in the App Store for a limited time. Both the iPhone and HD iPad versions are currently free, and well worth picking up while you’ve got the chance to get them for nothing. The gameplay is simple enough, all you have to do is stretch the heroic To-Fu and then release him so that he can collect as much Chi as possible on his way to the Fortune Kitty who guards the exit. The strategy comes into play when you have to figure out exactly how to get To-Fu to the exit without accidentally pinging him straight onto the perilous spikes. If To-Fu touches a spike you’ll have to restart your current level all over again. And you’ll have to hear him squeal in pain and watch as his bandana floats forlornly in the breeze too! It’s the little touches like this that I love about the game; To-Fu is such a cute little character that you can’t help but smile, especially when he starts sneezing if you leave him standing too long without making a move! The music is really soothing too, and the gameplay is very challenging, but not so much that it keeps you from going back again and again for just one more try! As you progress, you get to unlock different colour bandanas, or "belts" for To-Fu, in keeping with the martial arts theme of the game.
