The free version of the Puffin browser cannot be turned into a permanent paid version. The paid version of the Puffin Browser is a separate app which costs $3.99 in the App Store (Canadian). The price may be different in other app stores. Here is the link to the paid version of the Puffin Browser. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/puffin-web-browser/id406239138?mt=8
