Facebook issues

First I'd check how many apps are running in the background. Usually apps will crash when there is not enough free memory for them to run properly.
Double click the Home button and the screen will appear to slide upward. this will show apps that are still loaded into memory. If you touch one of these icons and hold your finger on it the icon will start to jiggle. A red circle with a dash in it will appear in the Upper Lake left corner of the icons. By touching this red circle with a dash in it the app will close and release the memory it was using. Close all of the programs that are in this lower 'hidden' area. Now run Facebook and see if it still crashes, fid

My Facebook app is also crashing with seconds of opening ever since the last update. I have both made sure all apps are closed and restarted my iPad. Any additional ideas?

I can't figure out how to find my cookies and history in Safari on my IPAD 3. I am a traditional PC person so the nuances of using an Apple product doesn't appear as intuitive. Please let me know how to find my cookies and history in Safari and how to delete the history and cookies. Thanks.

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Data and Cookies. You will have to re-enter your data later in apps that 'remember' your user name etc.

It does feel good doesn't it? To know you've helped someone with a problem.

I certainly get a kick out of it too! ;)

It serves double duty. As we encourage people to search previous instances of their problem for possible answers, its useful to find that something worked. The only sure way to know is if there is some feedback.
