Emails on Exchange behaving oddly

For some odd reason, the ipads (all five of them) have been working fine linked to MS Exchange. In the last 4-5 days people have been receiving emails either blank, or dated 1970 or it removes them all and then relaods them. I am not sure if its an Exchange issue or an ipad issue. Anyone else come across this please
