I am new to the iPad forum so hope I am posting this in the correct place.
I deleted messages from various mail accounts including Gmail and Yahoo. I also removed them from Trash. Yet when I do a search on the iPad, for example "Johnson", it shows me a contact icon for Johnson, calendar icon as well, and many of the emails which I would have deleted both from the sent and trash boxes I can click on these messages and the contents are there. However, there is no option to delete nor is there a location identified where the messages are being picked up from.
How do I remove these messages permanently from my iPad2?
