OK - I have the Apple case for the iPad1. This is a very tight fit and has an 'annoying' seam around the edge that's somewhat uncomfortable - **but**, as many Forum members have reported, it's an absolute 'saviour' if your iPad falls to the floor - that 'seam' acts as a superb shock absorber.

Function versus style - go for function every time!!
