Delivery Of New IPad

Just tracked my iPad delivery. It was shipped from China on Saturday and it arrived in Alaska today. The Apple website says delivery is on Monday the 22nd. UPS tracking says delivery is on Thursday the 18th.

From Alaska to Massachusetts via Ground shipping is not three days. It isn’t a week either. Which one do I believe?! I’ll keep tracking it but I’m anxious to receive my iPad.

From China to Alaska in two days during the pandemic is mind–blowing! I have bookmarked the pages of how to backup my iPad and restore it. It does a backup every night but I still want to know, just in case...

Your iPad will almost certainly be flown to a UPS hub in your part of the country and could be placed on a truck at that point.

Both sites have a different date. I’m hoping that I get it on Thursday but I’m not counting on it. It’s still in Alaska according to the Apple website. My current iPad is working but the battery drains even when plugged in.

It is odd but I can watch Netflix at 100% battery and after ninety minutes, it is at. 100%. But I’m web surfing and in two hours I’m down 33%.

Today it cleared Customs (???) and is in Connecticut now. UPS said delivery is tomorrow but Apple still says Monday.

From Alaska to Connecticut overnight is great but the Customs clearance is strange. Alaska isn’t listed anymore.

My new cover was supposed to be delivered today. Tracking shows that it was last scanned at 2:30 am. I’m giving up on delivery today!

I’ve had UPS deliver as late as 7:30-8:00pm

It was the Amazon delivery truck. At 10:30 pm they said delivery is delayed and is rescheduled for Thursday or Friday. They give you a $5 credit for the inconvenience. Woo hoo!

The iPad is being sent by UPS at least.
