Deleting incomplete app installation

Hi, I accidentally installed an app twice, the first installation was loaded completely, but the second installation was not, it was written "waiting" and had been for days. I had tried to delete it through Ipad directly and Itunes.
But it was still there, any idea to remove it from Ipad

itunes usually can detect if you already have the app installed. installing it twice still puzzles me unless you use two different account.

anyway, from my experience you cannot delete them while they are in the "waiting" state. tap it again, you'll be prompt to enter pw . so it'll finish downloading. then delete it.

Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Usually that helps.
