Days of week in Spanish

So I have had my iPad for a couple of weeks now but there is one thing that is driving me crazy. Even though my language settings are defaulted to English, the days of week (or date in general in the calendar app) are in Spanish.

When I first used my iPad, everything was defaulted to Spanish, because some parts of my laptop are set as such. Upon changing the language the dates in the calendar app still remained in Spanish. Even in my weather channel app, the days of the week in the forecast are in Spanish.

I suppose this is a minute problem, but the inconsistency baffles me.

What you want are the Regional settings (I'm pretty sure).

Go to Settings > General > International, and set your Region to whatever is appropriate.

Thank you so much. Upon further inspection, it was indeed set to Spanish United States.
