Copying pictures such that they can be individually deleted

Is there a way to copy pictures into an IPAD such that they can be selectively deleted - from the IPAD. I notice when copying them via Itunes Sync, that they go into a folder, not film roll, and hence can't be deleted from the IPAD.

No, unfortunately not. If you put photos on the iPad via iTunes, you can only remove,them from the iPad with iTunes. There is no way to delete those photos off the iPad any other way, whether in a batch or one at a time. Sorry.

OK thanks. I'll try ways other than Itunes to move photos to the Ipad in hopes they can be deleted. It's curious that accessing the Ipad storage via Windows explorer, I can copy and delete against the Camera Roll but I can't copy anything to it.
