Connecting ipad to stream music to xbox 360 using air music app.

Ok everyone!!! I just purchased the app air music to be able to stream music to my xbox 360. I turn it on like it says, I go to my xbox and go to my music library and on the app all it says is waiting for connections! I sat waiting for it to connect for 10 min. And nothing! I am getting very upset and just want to be able to play my awesome music while I play some games not too hard I didn't think! Someone please help me figure out what is wrong! I also emailed them and no reply yet!
