Can anyone help me with the CardDV? A friend of mine encountered this one. She was being asked for the CardDV password.

CardDAV perhaps?
This is a method of syncing contacts. Look in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars under the list of accounts. It is not used often, but is an option under Add Accounts > Other.
If there is one set up, make sure the password is good. You may need to delete and re-add the account.

I double checked it with my friend, it's CardDV...
