My wife was taking a couple of pictures with her iPad and it switched from snapshot to video and now it won't go back to take any pictures. Any ideas?

If the software that's installed is iOS 7x, she'll have to slide to get back to Photos:




What is enabled, will be shown in a different colour than the other two options.
