Calendar

When I enter an event in my iPad it immediately posts in my iPhone, but if I enter it in my phone first it doesn't post to the iPad. Any suggestions on what settings are wrong?

I've noticed that it sometimes takes a bit for the calendar to sync. What I've done in the past is open the calendar on the iPad, fully close it and then re-open it. That drives a sync ... at least for me.

Only reason I can think of why the iPhone updates right away is because it's more "live" - it's in constant contact with its cellular data.
