Hi, I have the new Ipad and I currently have a small STM bag to carry it with me when I leave the house, however I just purchased a new Book Book case. This case , while I love it, is bigger than I thought it would be . Its about 10.25 inches tall. 8 inches wide. It does fit in the bag but I can't close the flap and its really a tight fit so I'm looking for something that can hold it more comfortably as well as hold a charger and other items. I've googled some but don't really see anything that catches my eye. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried the review section of MacWorld? I recently bought an STM Scout 2 extra small messenger bag that I found by using an old MacWorld review of iPad bags, cases and backpacks. Are you looking for something a little more high end like the Tom Bihn product line or beyond that?

I have the small STM messenger bag but I wanted something bigger. I wound up buying the STM Velo. Its made for a laptop but thats okay. It holds my Ipad and apple keyboard and a lot of other stuff. I can hold a laptop and Ipad in it if i want.

I had the opposite situation and needs. I'd been carrying my iPad and keyboard in an old laptop bag to work for over a year and got tired of the size. I've also been using my keyboard less and less.

I love how light the bag is and how compactly I can store all the items I used to carry separately in my purse.

After a week of use, I still find the front buckle a major annoyance. If I just used the bag for storing my device, it wouldn't be a problem, but I'll get used to it.

Disclaimer: we at Strotter design and make these bags. That said, our cool messengers were voted by our customers as the "best bags ever". We humbly agree. We have practically zero returns, which tells a lot.

My name is Serge, I am the founder of the company.

Folks, I doubt you ever saw this before:

Check out iPad messenger bag Platforma. This is, however, more than just a bag. It converts in 2 secs into a backpack, and into a mobile desk - hands-free style, meaning you can use the iPad while standing up with both hands free to type. It is not cheap, starting at $135 and going all the way up to 200, but you certainly get what you pay for: full grain leather, hand polished hardware, etc. This is not your Walmart variety (not that there is anything wrong with those). We are working on a "Junior" line, too

The bag is compact, but fits tons of stuff. Read the FAQ section on the site, and the reviews.

We also make a slim iPad case Across.

From the MacWorld Expo, the blond is wearing the Platforma bag in "hands-free work mode", the brunette shows off the Across case.
