Best messaging app for IPad?

Am looking for the beat app to send text messages. Currently have TextMe but it appears spotty at best any suggestions?

How about textie?
Its an app where yoy can send msgs using wifi to other ipad users or iphone etc.
I got it today and its been great to text my sister on her ipad
But you need wifi in order to send, its like whatsapp but no need for sim card!
