I am just trying to decide if I want a 1 or2. If the only difference is 3g and weight I think the 1 would be fine. An opinions?

I thought the 1 came with 3G also. I have the 2 and the big thing for me was the 2 cameras, front and back. They are not brilliant, but if you want to Skype, they are great and it's just handy to have them. The 2 is also more responsive, I'm sure someone will chime in with the technical data, but just changing from landscape to portrait is much faster and also with loading pages. It's more streamline too in appearance. I waited for the 2 to come out before buying and now the 3 is in the works for next March/April. I would buy the 2 if it were me starting again.

The 2 for sure. Always get the latest and greatest when you can. You'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
