Apple has paid a lot of money to acquire Beats Music and the major reason for this seems to be the fact that the company wants to revamp its iTunes service. At the moment, we don't know whether the service will work separate from iTunes or if it will be embedded, but what's sure is that there's work being done behind the curtains.

According to a fresh story from NYPost publication, it seems that Apple’s Beats Music, with Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre leading the team, is looking to form partnerships with artists for exclusive releases. While the report doesn't name specific artists, Beats Music has strong partnerships with such music personalities as Nicki Minaj, Will.i.am, Pharrell, Kanye West and Gwen Stefani.

The New York Post says Beats Music has around 300,000 subscribers, but the number is quickly increasing. Apple employees is looking to replicate the kind of success Beyoncé had with her iTunes album, “Beyoncé by Beyoncé,” back in December 2013. As a matter of fac, it was the fastest ever selling album on iTunes.
