Amidst all the iPhone 7 excitement yesterday, MacRumors reports that Apple has also updated the storage on its iPad range, as well as cutting the price of the iPad Pro and lowering the cost of the top level of storage across the board.

The iPad Air 2 now comes in 32GB and 128GB versions costing $399 and $499 respectively for the Wi-Fi-only models. This is double the storage that was previously available for exactly the same price.

The same goes for the iPad mini 4, which now has exactly the same storage specs and price point as the iPad Air 2.

The iPad mini 2 now only has a 32GB storage option, costing $269, which is the same price as the old 16GB model used to be.

Finally, both sizes of iPad Pro have seen a price drop as far as the more expensive storage variants are concerned, with the 256GB 12.9-inch iPad Pro now costing $999, having previously sold for $1099, and the 256GB 9.7-inch iPad Pro now costing $799, exactly $100 less than its previous price of $899.
