App screen expanding and collapsing

With the new ios 7 I see all the apps, when I open or close one it expands or shrinks instead of how it was before the upgrade. Is there any way to turn that feature off so I don't have it do this every time? For some reason it really bothers me. I'd just like the app to open or close without all the dissolve, etc. Thanks!!

Sorry, but that's the way Apple designed them to work on opening/closing. It's now the way iOS 7 works. Sorry.
