Airplay has changed

yesterday (28 Feb) our Apple TV did a big software update and now my ipad4 doesn't show the airplay icon if you double click/double swipe as before What has happened?

You Apple TV probably needs to rejoin the network for it to be visible again. Go to settings/general/restart. And that should make it visible to your other devices.
