after update to iOS 5 problems with downloads

i am new here so please dont blast me into a parrell universe for being in the wrong place or asking a redundant question...

i have updated to ios 5 and restored...at the same time i also added a new external drive for all my music and video...this is where the problem started...i cleaned itunes lib's and changed all paths and checked things were working, but now when i drag some tv shows to the ipad, only 1 of say 5 episodes show up on the ipad, you can see them in itunes on the ipad but they are not there...i have backed up and wiped the ipad and started all over again, same problem...very frustrating...

any experience similar issues? is this an ipad problem or imac problem....

Have you tried rebooting the iPad by holding down the Power and Home buttons for an extended period until the white Apple logo appears?
