Add touch and hold to save image function to offline html5 web app

I have built a offline html5 web app that allows users to slide through a group of pictures what I am trying to do is allow them to touch and hold down for a couple of seconds and a display screen appear asking them to save the image. Is this possible in a offline web application if so how can it be done.
