I have a bunch of apps that include word processing, spreadsheets, Sharepoint clients that include local storage and even a file system browser. What I can't figure out is how to use one app to find the files stored by a different app. I know that sometimes I can send a document from one app to another, but how can I avoid the need to do that? There are several good reasons I want to be able to more freely share and move documents around, and even back and forth to my computer. I just can't figure out how. Thanks.

If you are a Sharepoint user why aren't you using The mobile capability of it and just have everything in Sharepoint? That way it is already all in one place.
