but...when I do get my computer back, if the latest firmware is out with the patch, it will automatically download that when I update my iTunes from 9.1.1 to the latest right? And then it will force me to upgrade firmware if I want to sync. hmm...this is getting complicated....(in my mind at least.)

Ah ok, I see. Am I going to have to do a full sync with that or will it just update the firmware? Also, do I need to do a restore to wipe the spirit JB before upgrading the firmware?

I agree! Dunno what a restore with 3.2.1 will take now. Probably a download of 3.2 ispw and installing it manually. I think I saw some people doing that sort of thing with iPhones in the past. Apple is putting the squeeze on us! Viva la revolution!

Would it mess with my 3.1.3 jailbroken 3GS iPhone when I try to sync it with the same 9.2 iTunes if I updated it for the iPad?

Hmmm sounds like you didn't have a problem. well maybe I should just take the leap and let iTunes install 9.2 then restore it to from there and re-jailbreak it with Spirit. Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't?

Had same problem everyone else is having. WIFI IPad's been great for 2 months with Spirit then I think I did some recent Cydia update on a few apps (can't remember what they were) and yesterday noticed location services stopped working. Dunno if it was related to the update or some other random...
