I do have a hotmail account, but my main account is @me.com, and my secondary is from my website on my hosts server.
I did turn off the contacts on my pad and it gave me the option to erase the synced contacts from my iPad. I did this as well knowing they are all also on my phone. I figure I...
Yes, shut the sync off in info in iTunes.
Outlook is the email client I work with on the PC.
I have not tried the settings in mail contacts, calendars.
My contacts are better and more current on my iPad & iPhone.
I'll have to check but it might be easier to erase iPad contacts and then sync...
You should be able to use iPhoto to organize your pics and then in iTunes you can select those files to sync with your pad. Look up iPhoto in the apple website.
I have a bunch of contacts that have been multiplying, I assume, when I sync. I turned off the option to sync contacts with outlook, but it still seems to be happening. Is anyone else having this problem? Does any one have a nice, easy solution?

Nothing really quick about that. Too much info for that to go real fast. I try not to know too much about iTunes to hate it.
If I'm loading a movie I just start it and walk away...kinda like logging into the old dial up!!!
Are you syncing and updating regularly? Also shutting down your iPad weekly is a good idea.
Just shutting down normally will do. Occasionally you may want to do a hard restart, holding the home and sleep buttons down until it completely shuts down.
So I have had an iPad since they became available. I will be making the switch from PC to iMac very soon. Will any of the apps on my iPad transfer to the iMac to be used on that system? I'm guessing no because the operating systems are different. That should let you know the depth of my...
Yes, I was not clear in that description. I did load them first to the iPad and they did not show up immediately. I was, however, able to get the problem corrected after another sync with my iTunes account.
